Salveo Integrative Health was honored to attend the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the new
Mental Health Unit at the Georgia War Veteran’s Home, a groundbreaking facility dedicated
to providing comprehensive mental health and medical care for our nation’s heroes. The
ceremony was presided over by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, highlighting the importance
of this state-of-the-art initiative.

This remarkable new unit stands as the only one of its kind in the country, offering a fully
integrated care model designed specifically for veterans who have served in active duty. The
facility brings together critical mental health services and medical care under one roof, ensuring
that Georgia’s veterans receive the holistic support they deserve.

Salveo is proud to support this mission through the consultative services of Shahzad Hashmi,
MD, Board Certified Psychiatrist, who provides expert mental health care and crisis intervention
for the veterans at the Georgia War Veteran’s Home. Dr. Hashmi’s involvement ensures that
patients receive compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to the unique challenges faced
by those who have served.
