Meet Dan

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Anxiety Specialist with the National Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists, Dan works with adults, couples, teens, and children.  Dan likes to fit his treatment specifically to each client’s needs in a non-judgmental, positive, comfortable, and safe environment.

Dan uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP, Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy to help people suffering from anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, family conflict, and relationship issues.

Dan received his MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2013.  Before becoming a counselor, Dan was a high school Advanced Placement teacher in Alabama and Georgia, as well as being a training manager for an advertising company in Atlanta.
