Curtis Atkins is an Associate Professional Counselor pursuing full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. He graduated from Mercer University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Curtis is board certified in counseling by the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Curtis specializes in trauma and anxiety disorders and is certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) by IATP. He uses an eclectic model for therapy. This integrative model draws from CBT, DBT, person centered, and family systems theories. It is designed to treat a wide variety of conditions and mental health concerns.

Curtis sees both adolescents and adults for individual, family, or couples therapy. He strives to create an affirming and culturally aware environment in sessions regardless of gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
