Kathleen Bazile, LPC

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Kathleen believes that total health comes from healing the mind, body, and spirit. Kathleen’s goal is to not only help her clients understand and become educated about mental health issues but also find valuable coping skills that are unique to them so they can get one step closer to living a more authentic, healthy, and fulfilling life. Kathleen helps adults and teens 16+years, particularly young women, who are going through psychological distress. Kathleen’s mission is to help young women discover their authentic and empowered selves and create a life that allows them to thrive instead of just surviving. Kathleen practices integrative and evidence-based methods and has been formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Rapid Resolution Therapy and Hypnotherapy.

After ten years, Kathleen has provided effective psychotherapy to various clients with a diverse range of mental health severities and difficulties including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, sexual trauma, low self-esteem, grief and loss, significant life changes, and other emotional problems. Kathleen strives in creating a safe, non-judgmental, trusting environment, and therapeutic relationship so that you are willing to let her walk beside you on your journey and practice the changes you develop together.

As a young girl, who found herself helping those in pain, Kathleen knew that she was destined to be in a career where she could help alleviate the suffering of others. But she didn’t know what this would look like or if it was something in which she would be proficient. Kathleen dabbled in various subjects from biology, to creative writing, to web designing. Until one day she came across a psychology book and found herself falling in love with the mysteries of the brain and psyche. From then on Kathleen knew she found her calling! Kathleen studied psychology at Florida International University and received her Master’s in Counseling at Rollins College. Currently, Kathleen is perfecting her craft by pursuing her PhD. in the counseling field.

When Kathleen is not helping others, she can be found meditating, searching for reasonably priced (free) yoga classes, walking the Beltline, or enjoying the delicious eateries of Atlanta.
